What I Wish They’d Invent

When the Beatles recorded Eleanor Rigby they made a lot of sad people happy someone had noticed them. The happy people paused and gave thought…yes it was sad…“All the lonely people, where do they all come from?”

Not all people who live alone are lonely. There are lonely people living within large groups of people.  Loneliness is a state of mind capable of feeding itself sad experiences for the rest of its life.

So I wish they’d invent…

A system/machine, based on the hologram, challenging loneliness. Not another dumb-down drug.

Current research says it takes 21 days for the brain to incorporate a new habit.   Programs could be tailored to client needs or one universal one.  As complicated as some people’s lives are, the foundation of brain change is probably in the factor of one.

I will go out on a limb here and say I believe it is this:

The need to sense we are receiving love and respect.

Could a hologram field change the brain’s belief in its self?

Perhaps you have heard of the research supporting:

“What we think about we experience.”

“We cannot give to others what we don’t have for ourselves first.”

“Thinking will make it so.”

Any invention to help the brain get back on its feet. To experience the world it’s missing, would have great benefits for the heart.  Once healed and re-oriented, the world could well be shocked by the people showing up on the page.  No longer suffering somewhere alone.

Perhaps this invention is already underway.  Loneliness is worth talking about.

Here’s a cool U-tube video of Paul McCartney (2009) in New York singing with his band,

Eleanor Rigby, Sing the Changes, Band on the Run

Google the lyrics to “Sing The Changes”.  Maybe this is where the invention is or how it will be discovered.

I hope this blog has got you thinking about :“what I wish they’d invent” .  Write your own essay on this and see where it leads.  As always I hope to inspire my readers towards their own creative discoveries.

Sunflowers

“Sleeping with a sunflower under your pillow will permit you to know the truth of any matter”  (Old Folklore)

Watercolour by Katie @ Juniper

My post this week is on Sunflowers.  I know it’s the middle of January!  I awoke with sunflowers whispering in my ear so Sunflowers it is!

Photo’s of Sunflowers @ Splendor View Garden (where all my sketches of sunflowers originated)

The Heart Shape Leaf I So Adore

The leafs were always shaped like big hearts and the biggest one’s always asked:  “Place your hand here?”

Heritage Sunflower Seeds @ Splendour View

I only planted Sunflower seeds the first year.  Once established, they were the first seeds up in the spring!

I let the birds have the seed as I always knew they would drop some for next year.

I took care as I walked on the soil.  If I could spot them sprouting…and move them to one place…they would become big!

Once in awhile one would sprout under the Lovage and SURPRISE!!!!!

THE SUN.”

The Currency of Love

Deer @ Tracy’s

One morning, while I was laying in bed, half awake and half asleep; I heard the voice of an expert.

“Her work will never sell.”

“Yes,” I thought dreamily as I stretched. “I know this one…it isn’t seen as commercial.”

Half awake, I understood what was being said. It was as if I was there, looking over the shoulders of the “expert” who was looking at my work.

But this is when I really woke up. The booming voice over it all…

“It’s the currency of Love!”

Two voices waking me up with two different messages!
So I laid in bed for awhile mulling it over.

It was such an intriguing line… “It’s the currency of Love.”

The fact is, one voice wanted me to know I would never make money from my work. The other voice wanted me to know I had already received!

Currency is another word for money. The largest part of the word is current suggesting flow, energy, power.

Yes, Love is a powerhouse – it runs the Universe.

The bible says: “God is Love”.

If you asked me I would tell you this. I find agreement with the work that comes to me. I believe God created me to create. Creating Love is what God spends on me and expects from me in return; The currency of Love.

This is the story of my Life!

This blog “The Living Of Loving” is what I spend on you the reader. If you leave “inspired” it’s been a good exchange.

A near stranger said to me once:
“You have different creative expressions because you are still exploring who you are!”

This is the ultimate pay off.  “The currency of Love”

P.S. I will be mulling this experience over for awhile as I’m sure there is more to discover…on my own or in listening.

My Plants Are Writing Poetry

My plants are writing poetry

And time is meditating

The cat sleeps on my

Mother’s chintz

And lamps are contemplating

The clouds go by

The house is whole

Each room is celebrating

For I woke up

With more of me

For which my world

Was waiting.

Benny & Jesus

Benny @ Mitchell Lake age 85, 2004

This is what I wrote on the back of this photo:

Benny moved this cabin at age 85, 172 feet with 5 come-alongs and 6 jacks the summer of 2004 at Mitchell Lake all by himself.  He used 7 tied logs under the house.  Moved 30 feet up (first) then sideways and then down to new foundation.  Benny made the rails in the picture.

I remember like yesterday, the coffee Bennie and I had discussing his recent trip to Mitchell Lake.  He was often called in on tough jobs as the old timers knew he was one Norwegian who knew his stuff when it came to moving and re-enforcing log buildings.  Young people sought him out.

Benny had a secret way of moving things.  He never did anything without praying to Jesus first.  He told me he would get on his knees and before crawling under the buildings he was moving, he would always pray to Jesus.  Then when he crawled out, he always prayed to Jesus.  Benny loves Jesus.

Benny is in his 90’s now, almost blind and hard of hearing.  He seldom comes out with his son as he also has arthritis.  I miss our talks but now Benny is mostly speaking in Norwegian.  Whatever language Benny is using, I know Jesus is listening.  He always has.

Stephen Hawking

Stephen Hawking’s passing today is my first post in this category “The Living Of Loving”.  I learned this phrase from being in the presence of my father Jim Moore.  There are people in this world, and may we be counted with them, who put love into everything they do.  In the case of my father it was done while humming some nameless tune.

Some of us, in this living of loving, will be amplified in the world and some of us will live within a smaller circle.  Whichever, God’s love brightens the days of those around us.  We make life interesting!  Hopefully we inspire others…

Here is a cut and paste of my face book post when I heard of Stephen Hawking’s passing.  My first flush of feeling…”now you will know everything!”

Katie’s FB post

Stephen Hawking has passed at the age of 76. I remember Eckhart Tolle describing meeting him in his book when he was a young man in university. The devotion of the people who followed Stephen everywhere and fed him and listened to him. An incredible testament to overcoming physical difficulties while using his brilliance to understand the universe. I say from now on Stephen Hawking you will know everything! God bless!

And God bless you!
